In this chapter, you learned about the various versions of Windows Server 2003 and what features it supports. In addition, you learned the hardware requirements, both the minimum and the recommended minimums. You also learned how to log on to a Windows Server 2003 server for the first time and what screens you are presented with. A server can host various roles, and Microsoft has made it easier to configure these roles for you by supplying the Configure Your Server Wizard. This tool can be used to either add or remove roles from your server, and can be run at any time from the Administrative Tools folder. Next, you learned about the Microsoft Management Console and how to add snap-ins to customize it for your needs. Key Terms
