The Album Creation wizard warns you when you try to include photos whose resolution is too low in your album. Importing low-resolution images results in a warning in Step 2: Arrange Your Photos.

You can resize even a high-resolution image so much that you put it beyond the limits of best print quality. This 300-ppi photo has plenty of resolution at this album's default single-photo size, but going wild with enlarging will put it beyond the limits.

If you've enlarged a photo so that there's no longer enough resolution for best print quality, a warning dialog pops up every time you enter Step 2.
