Touring the Flash Authoring Environment


A Flash document consists of the Timeline, which holds the frames, layers, and scenes that make up your movie; the Stage, where the graphic content of the movie is displayed; the Edit Bar, which displays information about what you're currently editing and provides access to other scenes and elements; and a Pasteboard, which extends beyond the Stage on all sides (Figure 1.9).

Tip

  • The Document Properties tab of the Property inspector contains a shortcut to the Document Properties dialog. Just click the Size button. You'll learn more about the Property inspector later in this chapter.
