Success Criteria for a Stabilize Track

A Stabilize Track has been successfully completed when the release readiness approved checkpoint is achieved, signifying that the solution meets the release criteria for deployment to production, the stakeholders concur the solution meets their needs and expectations, and Operations is ready to assume responsibility for deployment of the solution as well as its ongoing management and support. A successful start of the stabilization effort requires that the team make, with the end of a Build Track, the transition from a mindset focused on building features to one focused on getting a solution to a known state of readiness. A successful conclusion of the stabilization effort requires that the team make another transition from driving a project to one of supporting operations and support teams in their assuming control and responsibility for a solution, starting with the pilot deployment.
