In this chapter we ve shown several examples of custom mixing, ranging from the sensible (BasicMixer) to the completely gratuitous (fuzzy dots). We ve only scratched the surface of what s possible, but hopefully we ve inspired you to create your own mixing effects that will amaze your audience. In the next chapter, we look at some miscellaneous topics related to the VMR and video in DirectShow.
