Showing and Hiding a Layer

 < Day Day Up >

If you have a complex drawing, it is sometimes helpful to display only the portions of the drawing that you are currently working on. This way, you don't accidentally delete or move another object that might be overlapping the object that you are modifying.

1.

Select the Header layer and click the Show/Hide column (the eye icon).

The rectangle is hidden.

2.

Click the Show/Hide column again to display the objects on the layer.

Tip

Hold down Alt (PC) or Option (Mac) as you click any Show/Hide icon to make all layers visible.
