If you have a small monitor, you may not see the blue border around the image or the entire image. There are several ways you can change the view magnification of the image in Fireworks. At the bottom right of the document window, you'll see a percentage. Click this number and select a percentage from the pop-up menu that appears.
You can also select the Zoom tool from the View section of the Tools panel. Click the canvas to zoom in or increase the view percentage. Hold down Alt (PC) or Option (Mac) as you click with the tool to zoom out or decrease the view percentage.
The View menu includes Zoom In and Zoom Out commands as well as a Magnification submenu that you can use. The keyboard shortcuts to zoom in are the same as in Macromedia FreeHand and Adobe Photoshop: Ctrl+Spacebar (PC) or Command+Spacebar (Mac). To zoom out, use Ctrl+Alt+Spacebar (PC) or Command+Option+Spacebar (Mac). Note In Windows, hold down the Spacebar first, and then add Ctrl and then the Alt key. If you hold Alt down first and then the Spacebar, you access the application menu. Tip Double-click the Zoom tool on the Tools panel to return the view to 100 percent. |
