On Your Own

To practice what you've learned, draw a clipboard as shown here. Create three layers, one for each main element of the clipboard: the board, the pad, and the clip. For the colors of the clipboard objects, you can look at the clipboard.png file in the Lesson05 Completed folder, or be creative and pick your own colors.

Hint: Use the Repeat command to draw the lines on the pad. Combine shapes (rectangles and rounded rectangles) for the clip and punch the hole in the clip with a circle. Add a gradient to the clip to add some dimension.
