Third-Party and ISV Extensibility

[Previous] [Next]

A BizTalk server does not run in a vacuum. Your BizTalk server should have the ability to receive plug-in extensions that make it easy to do business with industries or trading groups.

Third parties and independent software vendors (ISVs) who want to establish a reputation in the BizTalk server field might develop such interfaces. Your BizTalk server should have the ability to accept these interfaces, encouraging third parties to develop turnkey plug-ins.

Your server should accept any schema from any vendor and provide an interface that is sophisticated enough to allow the back-end processes that the BizTalk server communicates with to use information from all schemas.
