Printing a web page is like printing any other document, but there are a couple of special Safari settings you'll find useful.
To print a web page
1.
Select "Print…" from the File menu. A sheet drops down from Safari's title bar (shown below).
2.
The bottom pop-up menu is by default set on "Copies & Pages." Type in the number of copies you want to print.
3.
From the "Copies & Pages" pop-up menu, choose "Safari." A couple of nice options are hidden here.
4.
Deselect "Print backgrounds" if the web page has a complex background that could slow down printing or make the page text difficult to read. Turning off this option can also conserve your printer's ink or toner.
5.
Select "Print webpage information in headers and footers" to add the web page address, page title, date, and time to the printed document. Very helpful later when you want to know where this page came from, or how long ago it was printed.
