4.22 Getting Help in Configuration Mode

The help features discussed in the operational-mode section, help topic and help reference , are also available in configuration mode. We also mentioned the help apropos command earlier, which is a feature that is only available in configuration mode. The help apropos command lets you display a snapshot of syntax examples for commands that include a specific user -entered string. The following example first shows the help commands available in configuration mode, then the help apropos command in action. The user types help apropos asp , and the returned output displays the syntax for all of the commands that include the string asp.
