Invoke and Exit Visual Basic

Note: Visual Basic is part of a suite of programs called Visual Studio, which also contains the C# (pronounced "C-sharp") and C++ ("C-plus-plus") programming languages.

  1. Invoke Visual Basic Express Edition

     

    1.

    Click the Start button.

    2.

    Hover over All Programs.

    3.

    Click on Microsoft Visual Basic 2005 Express Edition.

  2. Invoke Standard or Professional Editions of Visual Basic.

     

    1.

    Click the Start button.

    2.

    Point to All Programs. (A new panel will open on the right.)

    3.

    Point to Microsoft Visual Studio 2005. (A new panel will open on the right.)

    4.

    In the new panel, click on Microsoft Visual Studio 2005.

  3. Exit Visual Basic

     

    1.

    Press Alt/F/X.

    or

     

    1.

    Click on the Close button; that is, the small square button containing an "X" located at the upper-right corner of the window.

    Note: If an unsaved program is present, Visual Studio will prompt you about saving it.
