It is highly recommended that you create a primary ZENworks server within the same LAN of the managed devices, meaning that you do not manage devices over a WAN. This is also true for additional ZENworks servers that you "join" to the primary. The additional servers that are joined will point back to the primary server for the database, the ZENworks Object Stores are replicated, and the packages are distributed via Tiered-Electronic Distribution. It will be faster and more efficient to have these processes done within a high-speed LAN environment.
