In this lesson, we learned what makes AutoCAD worth the price you (or your company) paid for it. Here we saw how we can shave weeks from a project by spending a day or two in additional setup time. This savings translates into increased profit for the company by cutting production time (thus increasing the amount of work possible in a given period of time). It means more money for the trained operator because it's his or her training that makes the savings possible.

What we've done in this lesson is to cover the methods and techniques available that can accomplish these savings. But it's often up to you, the CAD operator and designer, to explain, demonstrate, and even sell these possibilities to the people and companies for whom you work. Remember that CAD is still relatively new to many people. They are relying on your expertise to show them what can be done!
