Well, this was quite a lesson! We covered AutoCAD's display commands Zoom , Pan , and View . Then we looked at the basic text command Text . After that, we covered the Style command. We'll see that one again when we cover MText in Lesson 13. Lastly, we took a quick peek at AutoLISP and how to load and use a Lisp routine. Of all the things covered thus far, mastering these few short paragraphs will go further than any other in proving to an employer that you have mastered AutoCAD.
We covered quite a bit of material; but believe it or not, you'll soon be using these tools as second nature (just as you now use a triangle or Ames Lettering Guide).
