In this lesson, we've covered the tools that will make the difference between a computer doodler and a CAD operator . Anyone can draw lines and circles, but for CAD to be an effective tool in industry, it must have the ability to draw with speed and precision. But don't expect yourself to fly through a drawing yet.

First, you must practice the material in this lesson until it becomes second nature “ like a draftsman knowing how to begin a drafting project without thinking about it. So take some time to do these exercises. Do them again and again until you're quite comfortable with AutoCAD's Drawing Aids.
