Exporting the Behavior Analysis Report Data

 < Day Day Up >

The behavior investigation provides a great deal of useful information to the security team and offers helpful filtering and sorting capabilities; however, the reports provided by the CSA MC interface might not provide the data in a view you require. If you want to export the report to another application, just open the page of data you want to export and click the Export This Report link located just below the last section in the left navigation pane. Clicking this link bundles the report for retrieval to your system via the onscreen link provided, as displayed in Figure 11-22.

To download the CSV (comma-separated values) report to your local system, right-click the link provided and save the data to an appropriate location. From here, you can easily import the data into a number of applications such as a database or spreadsheet. Figure 11-23 demonstrates what an imported CSV file looks like in Microsoft Excel, and Figure 11-24 shows a sample graph you can create from the data.
