When you install CSACS, it also installs in Windows several services and daemons that are required for CSACS functionality:
CSAdmin ” Allows for the configuration of CSACS via a GUI.
CSAuth ” Determines whether user access should be allowed or denied (authentication). Also determines the rights a user has (authorization) once the user is authenticated.
CSDBSync ” Provides group and user management.
CSLog ” Captures logging information and stores it in comma-separated values (CSV) files.
CSMon ” Monitors the CSACS system and automatically attempts to fix any problems that are detected .
CSTacacs ” Communicates between the router and CSAuth .
CSRadius ” Communicates between the router and CSAuth .
