Script Paths and the maya.env File

To add more directories to the paths Maya searches when looking for a script file, We need to modify the maya.env file. Open the maya.env file in any text editor and add the text seen in Example 5.2:

Example 5.2: Setting script paths in the maya.env file.

 MAYA_SCRIPT_PATH = path ; path ; 

with path representing the full path to the directory to be added to the script search. These changes will not take effect until a new Maya session is launched.
