implicit conversion A conversion between types that can be performed automatically by the common language runtime. An implicit conversion will always succeed and never pose a danger of data loss.
inheritance In object-oriented programming, creating a new class that incorporates and extends all of the characteristics and functionality of a base class.
inherited control A user-created control that inherits an existing control. An inherited control inherits all of the functionality of the base control and can incorporate custom functionality as well.
interface A contract for behavior that can be implemented by a class. Classes that implement the same interface can be expected to provide the members defined by the interface.
