One of the forms of communication that can definitely benefit from the personal touch of handwriting is e-mail. Imagine sending a handwritten e-mail message to your sweetheart to express your affection.
(Or having your children create a drawing and send it off to Grandma's e-mail address on her birthday.)
(Or sending your boss a handwritten note of resignation with a drawing of a jackass to tell him what you think of him . . . well, okay, you can imagine that one, but I don't recommend actually doing it.)
But I digress. . . .
You can create a Word or Excel document that includes one or more Ink Writing and Drawing objects and then use a command on the File menu to send your handwritten content in the body of an e-mail message:
Simply create the Ink Drawing and Writing object in Word or Excel.
Then choose FileðSend toðMail Recipient.
An e-mail form opens, as shown in Figure 10-7, with your handwriting and any other document contents in the message area.
Figure 10-7: Personalize e-mail messages with handwritten content from Word or Excel.
Just address this e-mail form like you ordinarily would and send it on its way!
Tip You can also insert Ink Drawing and Writing objects directly into e-mail messages in Outlook; find out how to do this in Chapter 12.
