Using Stationery


Your e-mail messages can be as expressive as you are or want to be. Outlook provides stationery that you can apply to your e-mail messages to give them a personalized look. The stationery in Outlook comes in a wide variety of patterns, colors, and designs.

Apply Stationery to a Message

Click the Mail button on the Navigation pane.

Click the Actions menu.

Point to New Mail Message Using.

Click More Stationery.

Click the stationery you want to use.

Click OK.

Did You Know?

You can download additional stationery from Microsoft.com. Click the Get More Stationery button in the Select A Stationery dialog box, and then download new stationery.

Stationery applies only to HTML-formatted messages . You can use stationery only if you use HTML as your message format. If you are using the Plain Text or Rich Text format message setting, then you can't apply stationery to your message.

You can create your own stationery . Click the Tools menu, click Options, click the Mail Format tab, click Stationery Picker, and then click New. Complete the Create New Stationery dialog box.
