Exiting Outlook

Before exiting Outlook, you might want to display Outlook Today to make sure you have accomplished all the tasks that you set for yourself, responded to e-mails, completed and sent drafts of e- mails , and kept your appointments and meetings.

Exit Outlook

Click the Close button, or click the File menu, and then click Exit.

Did You Know?

You can view the items in your Deleted Items folder . You might want to view the items that you have deleted during your Outlook session to make sure that you didn't delete an item by mistake, especially if the Deleted Items folder is emptied each time you exit the program. To view the contents of your Deleted Items folder, click the Folder List icon on the Navigation pane to display the Folder List, and then click Deleted Items.
