As you copy and paste items in Outlook you are actually using the Office Clipboard, which is an area of memory reserved for those selections. What you might not know is that the selections you copy and paste while working with other Office applications are available to you in Outlook. You can see what is on the Clipboard by opening the Office Clipboard task pane. The selections stored on the Clipboard remain only for the current session. Copy and Paste Items
