Introduction

You can use Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 to manage and organize meetings. Using Outlook, you can schedule meetings, check the availability of attendees, and then invite them. You can find a location and reserve resources, such as conference rooms and equipment. You can also track the responses you receive to your meeting request, and if necessary, make changes to the proposed meeting time, location, and list of attendees.

In Outlook, you can view the schedules of your coworkers before you schedule meetings or appointments so that you can determine when all the people in your group are free at the same time. Then you can request all the members join you in a meeting. You can then use Outlook to schedule an in-person meeting with your group, or if you have employees located away from the office, you can schedule an online meeting.

To conduct meetings online, use NetMeeting. NetMeeting is an add-on program that comes with Microsoft Internet Explorer that lets you conduct online meetings using the Internet or an intranet.
