Introduction

Although we examined the basics of network security in Chapter 1, we have much more to talk about in regards to securing your network; that is the topic of this chapter. This chapter, however, is not the end-all when it comes to security or securing your Windows Server 2003 network. Many volumes have been written on this topic, but we seek to examine only a small sampling of the overall subject area in this chapter that is directly related to the objectives for this exam.
