Hour 10. Working with Templates

In Hour 5, "Creating Documents from Existing Documents, Templates, and Wizards," you learned how to use the templates and wizards that come with Word to create documents with a minimum of fuss. In this hour, you gain more expertise in working with templates. To start with, you'll find out how to personalize Word's templates so that you have less typing and formatting to do in the documents you create with them. You then practice creating and modifying your own templates. Finally, you learn four "bonus point" techniques ”changing the template that's attached to a document, copying items from one template to another, making items in one template available to all documents, and sharing your templates with others.
