9.4 The Web Service Interface

 < Day Day Up >

Specifications that describe a Web service interface are pointed to by a bindingTemplate and a tModel. In fact, UDDI does not prescribe any technology or methodology to describe a Web interface since this can be described in a number of ways-such as simple prose or a formal description language. One of the common methods currently used to describe interfaces is Web Services Description Language (WSDL) or its sister, Web Services Conversation Language (WSCL). That said, there is no formal relationship between UDDI and these languages; they are just complementary.
