What is the DMAIC model?

The DMAIC model is the official methodology for the six sigma problem resolution approach. It stands for define, measure, analyze, improve, control. Fundamentally, the model helps in the following:

• Knowing what is important to the customer.

• Identifying the target.

• Minimizing variation.

• Reducing concerns.
