• Project 2003 The Project 2003 family includes Project 2003 Standard, Project 2003 Professional, Project 2003 Server, and the Project Web Access Client. Identifying the proper combination of products for the organization can be an involved process, but most smaller organizations can meet their needs with Project 2003 Standard.

• Visio 2003 Visio is also tied into the SharePoint 2003 environment with the Shared Workspace task pane. Publishing a Visio drawing to a SharePoint 2003 site in MHTML format allows it to be accessible to any user with access to the site.

• PowerPoint 2003 The addition of the Shared Workspace task pane and the ability to publish presentations to a SharePoint 2003 site facilitate the use of PowerPoint as a more collaborative product and enhance its functionality as an educational and communications tool.

• OneNote 2003 Offers a limited version of the Shared Workspace task pane when a OneNote document is opened from a SharePoint 2003 site or workspace. OneNote will most likely be useful to tablet users or team members who have to take extensive notes and share them with SharePoint 2003 site members.

• Publisher 2003 Although primarily designed for individuals who produce more complex documents for internal or external use, Publisher provides a set of tools that make it easy for the graphic designer to create a web page or collection of pages that can be published or saved to a SharePoint site or library.

• Access 2003 SharePoint 2003 lists can export to Access 2003 databases to enable an organization to capture information from complex and lengthy lists. Access 2003 databases can also be created and made accessible from forms that can be stored in SharePoint 2003 libraries.

• InfoPath 2003 Allows the creation of complex forms ideally designed for use in SharePoint 2003 form libraries. InfoPath is required by each user who wants to use these forms, however.

• FrontPage 2003 An invaluable tool for website administrators and web designers for customizing and adding value to SharePoint 2003 websites.

• Live Communications Server 2005 Provides an instant messaging solution for the enterprise, which is quickly becoming a requirement for more sophisticated organizations.
