Displaying and Organizing Site Content

One of the main tasks a Site Administrator needs to perform is creating, configuring, and maintaining Web Parts and the overall layout of information in a site. Access to Site Content information is displayed to the users of your site through Web Parts, which are components that can be dropped into a SharePoint page to pull information from the Site Content sources and display it in a predetermined way.

Any number of Web Parts can be added or customized to display information in a certain way. Finding the right information to display is an important part of being a Site Administrator. For more information on adding and configuring Web Parts, reference Lesson 18, "Adding and Linking Web Parts."
