Using the Hands-On Labs

 <  Day Day Up  >

The Hands-On Labs are an essential part of your preparation for the A+ Certification Exams. They are based, in part, upon the years of hands-on demonstrations and troubleshooting scenarios I developed for Advanced PC Troubleshooting classes I taught around the country.

As you perform the lab experiments for each chapter, turn to that chapter for more information.

Each chapter has a series of exercises that are based on the contents of that chapter. Each exercise has a list of required equipment, an objective, and questions for you to answer based on what you learn in each lab.

The labs are designed to simulate real-world tasks you might perform as an IT or network technician. The labs are open ended, so don't hesitate to use them as a starting point for further explorations of the topics they cover.
