Chapter 7. Participating in Newsgroups and Mailing Lists

Now that you've gotten started with email and chat, it's time to look at a couple of other ways of communicating: newsgroups and mailing lists. They both share aspects of emailing and chatting, but they work in different ways. And they both offer great ways to get involved with a subject that interests you, or to just have fun.
