In this chapter, we looked at right-to-left languages and input method editors. Right-to-left languages require special considerations in both Windows Forms and ASP.NET applications, and require some forethought in the design and layout of formsand potentially in code as well. Input method editors are an end-user tool for entering characters that cannot normally be entered using a QWERTY keyboard. ASP.NET applications can afford to be oblivious to this subject. The level of support that Windows Forms applications offer for IMEs is a matter of choice, ranging from no direct support to comprehensive control of the IME. |
