Chapter 20: How to Install WDF Drivers

Overview

Drivers must be installed before they can be used-either by the developer to test and debug the driver or by the end user who wants to use the related device. The procedures for installing a driver are distinctly different from those that are used to install applications.

This chapter discusses how to create a WDF installation package-including driver signatures-and how to install the package.
