Although the need to work in source code becomes less and less with every new version of GoLive, there are occasions when it is necessary to work in the source code to achieve a particular effect or to format content a particular way. This is especially true of new technologies that are introduced and implemented after a software release of GoLive, where GoLive does not yet know about the new code required. You might also find it useful to work with the source code if you've been doing this a while and are more comfortable working in code. Then, of course, there are some things that still have to be inserted into the source code by hand, such as CSS ID selectors and certain attributes such as the clear attribute for the <BR> tag. Whatever your reasons for editing the source code, you will find GoLive's Source Code Editor useful and user friendly.
