A driver tells Logic how to communicate with your system's audio interfaces, and you select your audio driver from Logic's Audio Drivers Preferences pane (accessed by choosing Audio > Audio Hardware & Drivers).
The Audio Configuration window lists all the audio channels available to Logic (Logic Pro only).
To access an audio channel, you must first assign it to an Audio Object.
Audio Objects provide the graphic interface for audio channels and look like the channel strips on any hardware mixing console.
Audio Objects should be kept on their own Audio layer in the Environment. This makes them easy to locate when needed.
Lock your Autoload Song so that you don't accidentally save unwanted changes.
