Wrapping Up

Windows XP’s Disk Management console provides you the tools and features you need to configure hard disks easily. Windows XP’s volume management works with dynamic disks, and you easily configure storage solutions, such as spanned and mirrored volumes. You can also use Windows XP’s disk tools to solve disk problems and even implement disk quotas when Windows XP is used as a file server. Finally, you can also manage Windows XP removable drives through Device Manager. All of these features make Windows XP’s disk management easy and versatile.
