The iTunes Music Library


Earlier, you read that one of the great things about iTunes is that you can use it to store all your music on your computer. This is done with the iTunes Library (see Figure 13.1). This is the place in which you store all the music and sounds you import into iTunes, such as from audio CDs or other sources. You can then browse or search your Library to find the music you want to listen to or work with.

As you use iTunes, you will frequently be accessing your Library; it will often be your first stop when you do things with your music, such as creating playlists or burning CDs.
