Viewing Slideshows on an iPod

If you press the Play or Select button when you are viewing an image, you'll jump to the Slideshows menu.

You can view the images on your iPod in a slideshow. There are two general steps to do this. First, configure the slideshow options. Then, watch the show.

Setting Up an iPod Slideshow

To configure a slideshow, perform the following steps:

Select Main menu, Photos, Slideshow Settings. You'll see the Slideshow Settings menu (see Figure 9.8).

Select the option you want to configure and press the Select button.

Use the resulting menu to choose the specific options you want to configure. See Table 9.1 for a description of the available settings.

Press the Menu button to move back to the Photos menu.

Playing an iPod Slideshow

To view a slideshow, perform the following steps:

1.	Select Main menu, Photos. You'll see the Photos menu.
2.	Highlight the source of the images you want to view in a slideshow. The options are the same as when you are viewing images individually.
3.	Press the Play button. The slideshow will play using the current slideshow settings (see Figure 9.9). Sit back and enjoy the show! Figure 9.9. Although you can't tell it from the figure, this slideshow includes a nice soundtrack and transition effects.
4.	When the last image in the slideshow appears, press the Menu button to return to the slideshow.

If you configure slideshows with the Manual setting, you'll need to press the Fast Forward button to advance the images in the show.
