Chapter 7. Configuring an iPod to Suit Your Preferences

In This Chapter

  • Use some cool music playback options, such as Shuffle and Repeat.

  • Customize the Main menu.

  • Set the contrast of your iPod's screen.

  • Set the Sleep Timer.

  • Get rid of the clicker or not.

  • Change the iPod's language.

  • Restore all your settings to their default states.

iPods are personal devices; because they are, you can customize them to work the way you want them to. You can control many aspects of how your iPod works by using the Settings menu (way back in Chapter 3, "Controlling an iPod or iPod mini," you learned how to use this menu to configure your iPod's backlight that was only the beginning!). In this chapter, you'll learn about many of these settings that you can use to customize an iPod to suit your personal preferences.
