Chapter 22. Maintaining iTunes and Solving Problems

In This Chapter

  • Take care of iTunes, and it will take care of you.

  • Be safe, not sorry, by backing up your music.

  • Get help with those very rare, but possibly annoying, iTunes problems.

As an application, iTunes is so well designed that you aren't likely to have many problems with it. And that is a good thing because who wants problems? However, you can minimize iTunes problems by keeping the application updated to the current release. You should also keep your music collection backed up just in case something bad happens to your computer.

In the rare event that you do have troubles, you can usually solve them without too much effort.
