Chapter 25. What to Do When Your Printer Won't Print

If you have to have a computer-related problem, it might as well be a problem with your printer. That's because even if your printer quits working completely, it really doesn't throw all your plans into jeopardy.

You can, after all, copy the files you want to print to a CD and take that disc to another PC or a service bureau (such as Kinko's) to print. Or you can borrow a friend's printer, or if you're connected to a network use another printer on the LAN for your print job. You can even email your file to someone else to print.
