Creating a 3D Logo from Font Characters


Open an empty Draw document. Create a text box containing a single capital letter. Highlight the letter. Right-click the letter and choose Character, or select Format > Character. You see the Character dialog box.

Choose a character set for formatting, set the font size to 300 points, and click OK. Select Modify > Convert > 3D. You can modify the color by changing the settings in the Area Style of the Line and Filling toolbar. Right-click the letter and choose 3D Effects. Here you can apply different settings to achieve many different looks and shapes. Add text to the logo. Add an object for the background. Right-click and select Arrange > Send to Back.
