WordPad

WordPad was meant to replace Notepad, because it can handle larger documents, provide some basic text formatting, and save documents in Rich Text Format (RTF). It's a poor man's word processor, more unwieldy than the elegant Notepad and less fully featured than a real word-processing program, such as Microsoft Word. Launch it by clicking the Start button and selecting All Programs, Accessories, WordPad.
