CONNECTING ADDITIONAL PCS TO YOUR WIRELESS NETWORK

Each additional PC on your network requires its own wireless adapter. You'll also need to run the Network Setup Wizard on each network PC.

Connect the wireless adapter to a USB port on the PC, and then run any necessary installation software.

Launch the Network Setup Wizard, as explained on page 201.

TIP

Wireless Adapters

A wireless adapter can be a small external device that connects to the PC via USB, an expansion card that installs inside your system unit, or a PC card that inserts into a laptop PC's card slot.

Follow the same steps as before to complete the wizard.

Click Finish.

TIP

Configuring Older PCs

If a computer is running Windows 98, Windows Me, or Windows 2000, you need to run the Network Setup Wizard from the Windows XP installation CD.
