Playing a CD

If WMP doesn't start automatically when you load a CD into your PC's CD-ROM drive, you can launch it manually from the Windows Start menu. You can then start playback by clicking WMP's Play button.

To pause playback, click the Pause button (same as the Play button); click Play again to resume playback. To skip to the next track, click the Next button. To replay the last track, click the Previous button. You stop playback completely by clicking the Stop button.

To play the songs on a CD in a random order, select Play, Shuffle or click the Turn Shuffle On button. WMP will now shuffle randomly through the tracks on the CD.
