Personal computers aren't just for adults. Your PC can be a valuable learning tool for your children, especially if you get them started with the right educational software.

When you stroll the aisles of your local computer or electronics store, you'll find all manner of children's software. Not all of this software is educational; there are a lot of games (and game-like) software out there. (Don't take my word for it; turn to Chapter 20, "Playing Games," to learn more.)

Better to sit your kids down in front of your PC with a good educational program up and running. There are educational programs for all ages of kids, from preschool to high school, and beyond.
