In some deployment scenarios, you must know the locale identifier (LCID) for a language in order to install the correct MUI Pack. Microsoft Office 2003 Multilingual User Interface Packs (MUI Packs) are installed on the administrative installation point under folder names by their corresponding locale identifier.
For example, when you include MUI Packs as part of an Office deployment, you specify the Mui.msi file in the LCID folder for a language—such as \1031\Mui.msi for the German MUI Pack MSI file.
The following table lists Office 2003 MUI Pack languages and corresponding locale identifiers.
