Installation source on the user’s computer created when the user installs Office from the CD or a compressed CD image on the network. Windows Installer uses the local installation source to repair, update, and reinstall Office, minimizing the user’s reliance on a network source.
The set of information that corresponds to a given language and country. The code locale setting affects the language of terms, such as keywords, and defines locale-specific settings, such as the date formats and character sorting order.
A 32-bit value defined by Windows that consists of a language ID, sort ID, and reserved bits. Identifies a particular language. For example, the LCID for U.S. English is 1033 and the LCID for Japanese is 1041.
